From The West Coast to No Coast: Life in Nebraska!

When I decided to travel from Los Angeles, California all the way to Nebraska for work, I had some general preconceived ideas of what I would encounter there. You know, things like cows, corn, lots and lots of corn, wide open plains with fresh clean air, freezing cold weather conditions, and home of the Huskers.

Little did I know, Nebraska has so much more to offer. From posh venues, gorgeous architecture, diverse ethnic eateries, amazing weekly theater and arts performances, trendy eclectic shops, I could go on and on. Did I mention the people? The amazing people of Nebraska! You know, genuine kind- hearted people willing to give a helping hand to a stranger.

One might be amazed at just how diverse Nebraska is! Nebraska has an ethnic population that includes Native Americans, African Americans, Asians, Czechs, Danes, Italian, Mexican, Russian, I could go on and on. Check out Wikipedia's list of ethnic groups in Nebraska for more. With such a diverse population, there are plenty of delicious, ethnic eateries to choose from. There are also some great tourist attractions rich in history and some obscure things to see as well.

Over the next few weeks, I'm going to share with you some of my experiences, favorite hot-spots, and things to do and see in Nebraska. I hope you'll follow me on my blog. I'd love to hear your thoughts. As always sending positive vibes your way one blog at a time.
